Albion Hill and Carlton Hill
Carlton Hill and Albion Hill are adjacent areas in Brighton which were heavily redeveloped in the early and mid twentieth century. Many streets were demolished in their entirety and replaced with tower blocks. Some streets were retained in full or in part. This page includes streets which exist in some form in 2022 and also others which have disappeared entirely.
(Please note that general practice in this website is to name streets using their current name. Historic streets are included only in areas of exceptionally complex development like this one where it is impossible to locate images using a current street name )
