2018: This image shows the side of 48 Stanford Road, formerly known as Highlands. The house is on the corner of the junction with Hamilton Road and today it is divided into flats. There is still a garage, Stanford Garage, tucked in between numbers 48 and 50, but the petrol pump seen in the earlier image is no longer in use. (Photographer: Jane Southern)

2019: In the original photograph of unknown date, the portico was being removed from 48 Stanford Road, formerly known as Highlands. In 2018 there is a less elaborate porch, no chimneys and a large dormer in the roof. This house is now converted into flats. The house which can be seen on the right is 44 Hamilton Road.
