James Gray: The Red Lion Inn at the top of Upper Park Place, October, 1963. First mentioned in directories of the 1860s, it may possibly previously have been a private dwelling. It can be seen at the top right in the above photograph. Demolished and rebuilt, 1965/6. jgc_24_060
