2018: Leicester Lodge occupies the corner of Medina Villas and Hove Place (its address is actually 9 Hove Place). It is largely unchanged and now listed as a Hove Historic Building. It was converted into two flats in 1989.

The south facing first floor porch has gone as has the pillared balustrading on the roof line. The chimney to the west has gone. The cast iron lamp with overthrow remains. The brick building to the south remains with its brick and flint wall but in the south-east corner of Medina Villas where it meets Kingsway is now a 1960s block of flats, The Priory. (Photographer: Alison Minns)
