LUCERNE ROAD

Lucerne Road

James Gray: Westwards to Chester Terrace and beyond – 1910. jgc_20_143

2018: The most prominent changes to Lucerne Road are the growth of the trees and the inevitable parked cars. Both images show the road from the first house on the north side of the street. The wall seen to the right (east) of this house belongs to the corner property in Cleveland Road (No 28) and has been largely replaced by a wooden entrance to that property’s garage. (Photographer: Andrew Renaut)
