TAMPLINS BREWERY

Tamplin Terrace

Neighbourhood:
Hanover/Elm Grove

James Gray: No comment.  jgc_20_015

2018: The brewery (apart from the offices) has been redeveloped as a housing estate. The angled corner of the building and the fact that it is apparently the loading bay for distribution suggests, from studying an OS map of the time, that it is now the location of Tamplin Terrace. James Gray: Tamplins Brewery 1897.  jgc_20_022

2018: The brewery buildings have all gone (cleared in the 1990s) and have been replaced by the flats and houses in the newly created Tamplin Terrace. Student halls of residence can be seen in the middle of the shot. (Photographer: Eleanor Price)
