Manor Gardens

Neighbourhood:
Eastern Brighton
1934
1934

James Gray: Kemp Town Manor House in 1934, when still in private occupation, and before the development of the Manor Farm Estate. At the present time the house is used for a Day Nursery. jgc_23_067

James Gray: The almost rural entrance to Manor Road from Church Place in 1934. At this period the road led merely to the Manor House, the farm cottages and a few other buildings. The house in the left foreground was removed when the estate was developed and the new Manor Road laid down. jgc_23_069
