HOLLINGDEAN ESTATE

Crespin Way

Neighbourhood:
Hollingdean
1962
2018

James Gray: I had this photograph taken on 28 January 1962, when this estate was being developed, and then put it on one side for many years. In 1984, I thought I would look at the area, and after much trouble, located the houses, which are 43/49 Crespin Way. jgc_20_127

2018: The original buildings (and the view up the valley side) are now virtually hidden by the remainder of the street. (Photographer: Andrew Renaut)
