BRUNSWICK MARKET

Brunswick Street East

Neighbourhood:
Brunswick
1970
2018

James Gray: The west side looking down Brunswick Street East. jgc_11_021

2018:   This shows the north and west sides of The Old Market (TOM) arts centre, the former Brunswick Market. There has been some rebuilding since 1970, an extension and additional windows can be seen on the west side. Brunswick Street East itself is still a mix of residential and commercial use, including several small car repair businesses. The cafe in the 1970 image is now a restaurant called The Little Fish Market. Its main entrance is 10 Upper Market Street. (Photographer: Annie Drynan)
